Fall TV Lineup

When Fall hits everything changes.
Schedules, weather, hours of daylight....
One welcome change is Fall TV.
Yes, I read and do other somewhat intellectual things, but I'm not gonna lie- I love TV.
Mindless, under the covers, zone from the day TV.

Here's my line up....

The Voice (Monday & Tuesday NBC 8 pm)
I am not a reality TV junkie... but when I'm smiling in spite of myself when they're pushing the button in approval during the blind auditions, I know it's a keeper.   Adam Levine + Blake Shelton (and soon USHER)- there may be no need for volume in the future  (oops, did I say that?)

Parenthood (Tuesday NBC, 10 pm)
Is there a show on TV that tugs at the heartstrings more than Parenthood? There's rarely been an episode that hasn't at one point left me near tears, and then laughing during the next scene.  Real, honest, and relevant.  Love this show. And also loving the addition of Ray Romano!!

The New Normal and Modern Family (Tuesday NBC 9:30, Wendesday ABC 8:00)

More laughs than you can count in 30 minutes.  A few jaw dropping, "did they really just say that on TV??" moments, but after long, busy days who doesn't love that?  They're filling the void left by Desperate Housewives.  I miss whose Wisteria Lane ladies...

Go On (Tuesday NBC, 9 pm)

Gets my vote for the best new show on TV.  While he'll always be Chandler M. Bing to me, this show hits all the right places- funny, sweet, sad, ridiculous...
Loving it!

Nashville (Wednesday ABC, 10 pm)
I'm giving it a try! Being a huge fan of country music, I made sure to tune into the first episode.  I liked it, and sort of picked up a Faith Hill/ Taylor Swift type vibe from the plot line. Can't say I'm 100% sold, but I am hoping!

Elementary  (Thursday CBS 10 pm)

Who doesn't love a little modern day Sherlock Holmes?  Fun, mysterious, and witty.  Even me, who hates the British accent, (sorry!!!) likes this...

And old faithful's...
Grey's, Private Practice, How I Met Your Mother...
Thank goodness for DVR

I want to try Revenge, Suburgatory,  Call The Midwives, & Ben and Kate... (perhaps I should consider quitting my job and adopting out my children to have time for all this TV?)

I'm skipping: Scandal (I really wanted to like it!!), Jersey Shore (never watched, never will), Here Comes Honey Boo Boo (I'm intrigued, but I'm afraid it might be a train wreck I won't be able to avert my eyes from)
