Forget trying to find the most tacky gift out there then arguing over it with all your loved ones. While fun in its day, The Ugly Sweater Christmas party was all the rage this year. I enjoyed ours... it was like a blast from the past. I am quite sure some of the sweaters I saw were in the bags sent in for donation from my aunts and uncles circa 1993.
I am sure business was booming at the Salvation Army this year!
Plus, at the rate fashion is going, hanging on to the sweaters might not be a bad idea. With skinny jeans, neon colors, and bigger hair, colorful knits just might be next.
Cutest couple in ugly sweaters... Tom and Kathy
Prettiest even in an ugly sweater, Laura
Best pose, he pulls this off a little too well
Best Authenticity: Cousin Uncle Matt, sporting the sweater and hair from the same decade
Best "pretty sure it's an ugly sweater sweater": Mom. Sarah's is for sure an ugly sweater. Mom's... I hope so but can't be too sure... that generation loves themed sweaters.
Best "oops": me. I "forgot" to snap myself in my ugly sweater. But, I do think it's up there in the ugliness category. I decided to get in touch with my inner artist and go all out.
And, though nothing to do with ugly sweaters, I could not resist throwing in these.
Best Santa's
!
