Deals!

If you know me at all well, it will not surprise you to learn that I can honestly say I do not pay full price for anything. I beeline for the clearance section. I always look for a coupon code or an additional percentage off. We shop at Aldi. We don't have cable (though this is getting more and more negotiable). In fact, I can only remember one time at the prompting of my sister that I bought a full price sweater for my birthday... that being said it was at the Banana Republic Outlet.. so I'm not even sure if that counts.
I love deals, and I love to shop. It's taken me a while to realize that just because it's a great deal does not mean that you have to buy it- but this time of year -shopping happens.
With Christmas coming, I am watching for deals everyday! We do not do large Christmases, so I like to make the gifts I do buy be thoughtful, individual, and last but not least, economical.
The website I have been stalking, but have yet to purchase from (I have a habit of filling my cart then chickening out and closing the window) is Zulily.com. It's fun, different stuff for women and kids. If you have a daughter, good luck with your willpower... I've been able to resist thanks to all the
"XY-ness" at my house.
Right now the deal that's catching my eye on zulily is the Chick Lingo Home Decor- $20 for $40 worth of gifts... I mean what mom does not want their baby's sweet face in this frame... c'mon...

Wanna Get Away? We did, and we scored $77 round trip flights to NYC later this month... just me and the hubby. Though romance is nice, we opted out of the $300+ a night hotel and are crashing with family- that way we can see the sights, eat, and be more free to shop within a budget. Paul's never been to the city, and it's been a while for me! Suggestions welcome- check out southwest.com for some good deals right now!

Moolala.com (kinda like a Groupon) also has some intriguing bargains going on right now... like $20 for $40 worth of name brand, high end cosmetics from Bloom.com. Includes 3 free samples, so if you're shopping for gifts like I am you can try a few things out for you. OPI nail polish makes a great add to any gift!
I'm definitely getting this LivingSocial.com deal for a $10 for a 20 page photo book from MyPublisher.com... I'm not a scrapbooker so I love photobooks! I also love trying new companies to do them- I love Shutterfly but had some gorgeous books done at PaperCoterie.com(FOR FREE), so I am excited to see what this company has to offer. .
Want to try Paper Coterie? I found a code for $30 off your order- no minimum! Try it out, I know I'm going to! Use: H2SHOLIDAY.
And my final deal- which I guess technically is full price- is Elf brand eye primer. ?With this, your eye makeup STAYS ON. ALL DAY. For a whopping $1.00 at Target- give it a shot. Who has time to reapply? Now you don't have to.
