A Snack Worth Trying!

I am a snacker.  The saltier and crunchier the better.  I can leave ice cream alone, candy bars, etc- but snacks are my downfall.  So, I have tried making healthy things into snacks and have had some success. Try these they're good, packed with fiber and protein, and they'll satisfy your need to crunch!

Roasted Chickpeas

Rise and drain one can
Dry thoroughly on a paper towel. remove any thick skins (you''ll easily see them)
Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper (and anything else you like), bake at 400 for 35-40 minutes until brown and crisp.  You want them crunchy, almost so they look overcooked.  Otherwise they're mushy and not pleasant.

Sounds awesome. I have a homemade granola recipe that I use for the same purpose. Delicious. Crunchy. Slightly sweet. LOVE IT!
