Sloppy Joes

Is Adam Sandler singing in your head now, too?
Good.

Here's the type of recipe I love to share- easy, tasty, and often can be made with items you already have on hand. Surprisingly kid friendly, too. Perfect for those cold, rainy fall nights when you forgot to plan dinner, and just want to stay in.

Sloppy Joes:
1 lb ground beef
1  medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon each:
-yellow mustard
-sugar (white or brown)
-Worcestershire
-apple cider (or any) vinegar
salt & pepper
Roll or bread of your choice

Brown beef and onion in pan, drain
Return to pan, combine all other ingredients, add to beef mixture, and simmer 10 minutes or so.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
* I often add a little extra vinegar and sugar because I like it that way
Make into sandwiches, serve immediately
Goes well with a salad with this family recipe dressing here
