Not Today

He's had just a few haircuts. Each time my heart breaks a little thinking it might be the end of the baby curls. But, each time they stay.
Today, the young barber even said he looked like a young Matthew McConaughey. Wow! Poor kid was terrified to get a wash.
A buzz/fade/curls on top cut was suggested. I politely declined, really wanting to scream "no way!". It'll happen. But not today.
