I always get suckered into those cute add-ons in the TJ Maxx checkout.  I mean, a mug for $3.99, a candle for $2.49... why not?  Truthfully, I usually pick up and put back, wondering all the while what Dave Ramsey would say, but this time I saw this darling companion to one of our favorite Bibles (My First Read and Learn Story Bible, click to buy), it was a must buy.

The kids have enjoyed looking for a prayer for whatever circumstance is going on for the day, but I do have to say their original prayers are the ones that touch my heart most. 

For instance, "Dear Jesus, we bless you. Thank you for superheroes, dinner, and the people who made it.  God, you have all the super powers. Thank you for being good and making good choices. Amen"
