How many parents make the mistake at the beginning of the school year of buying cheap backpacks that their kids beg for based on the cool Iron Man or Lego Star Wars theme (what do girls like? wrong person to ask!)
Each year I say I am going to order a quality bag from Lands End, L.L. Bean, or something like that and take them up on their lifetime guarantee should the need arise.  Then, each year I give into the pleas at Target when they see what they like.
So, come April we're dealing with worn bags and broken zippers.
Today, on Land's End, using code SEASON with Pin 2229 I picked up these cute bags for the boys for just $16.99 (from $44.00), less 25% with the code.  I went ahead and got their initials embroidered on them (While not a nervous mom, I don't want strangers able to call out my child's name and get their attention with bad intentions), but still came out with under a $45 price tag for both.  It kills me to pay shipping, but I couldn't find an item I wanted or needed this time to bring the total to the minimum amount for free shipping. With no codes available, shipping it is.

There were plenty of other items on sale in the backpack area, as well as men's, women's, and kid's clothing.  I have always been pleased with Land's End quality in coats, winter gear, and shoes as well. It feels good to get something you need on a good deal- with a coupon code to top it off! Makes returning to work after a nice break somewhat doable.
